| Introduction | My name is Andy Nguyen and I am an inspiring cook. I started aplace4food in 2011, I wanted to create a place where anyone could come to get inspiration, ask questions about food; anything and just enjoy my passion of cooking. I am currently the Sous Chef at Chuckanut Manor in Bow, Washington. I also run aplace4food caterering. I am not a chef, I am a good cook. 20 years down the line when I have worked my butt off and gained the knowledge of true chef's then I will be pleased to be called chef, until then i'm just a cook! Food is more than a four-letter word. It is a science, a drive that I have, to taste whatever I can whenever I can. There is always something new to learn in the culinary world. I want to see, taste and feast it all! You are welcome to use pictures, recipies whatever you'd like with reference to aplace4food of course. My main goal day in and day out is to cook great tasting and great looking food. If my food/recipes/pictures can make you happy then I am happy. Never underestimate yourself, it all starts with a passion...Mine is with food. |
