Introduction I spent roughly 25 years in the extremely fast paced and competitive magazine publishing industry; specifically in advertising sales where I served as Associate Publisher at several top publications. Over the years, I led record breaking sales teams, built brand equity and developed multi-platform sales initiatives. One of the greatest rewards of my career was being able to empower and inspire sellers to be the best they could be. I left the business to spend time with my young son and to focus on sharing my breakthrough motivational platform, RELAX. SET. GO., with everyone who wants to stress less and achieve more. It only takes a minute and it works! Are you ready?
Interests Other people. I love hearing how people are connecting back to themselves and to a higher order. I believe that we are in a time where it is more important than ever. I hope to get to everything people are sending me and especially hope to share much of it with all of you. I am interested in spirituality and God. I am fascinated by people who create their own success. I am also interested both local and national politics, learning to paint, getting more involved in my West Village community (hoping to join the community board) and in my son's public school (which we love).
Favorite Movies The Family Stone, Days Of Heaven, In America, Blowout, Anything Stanley Kubrick, North by Northwest, Body Heat, The Big Chill, A Perfect World, Nightshift, Fletch, Animal House, No Way Out, Rushmore, Overbaord, ANYTHING WITH JEFF BRIDGES, Seven Pounds, Mean Streets, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, Michael, The John Hughes classics, Almost Famous, High Fidelity, About a Boy, The Sixth Sense, The Terminator . . . too many more to mention
Favorite Music I am mostly stuck in the 70's, James Taylor, Elvis Costello, Elton John, Peter Frampton, Cheap Trick, Led Zepplin, Neil Young, Jorma, Springsteen, Simon and Garfunkle, Morrisey, Peter Gabriel, Roxy Music, U2, Cold Play, . . . love being exposed to new music and listen to movie soundtracks when I am writing. One of my favorite albums is The Carpenters Greatest Hits because it reminds me of the road trip I took from Monte Carlo to Rome and back with my best friend. We had the roof to her convertible down the whole way and sang those cheesy songs at the top of our lungs.
Favorite Books The House of the Spirits, The Fountainhead, anything by John Irving (my favorite author), Coma, A Map of the World, Cold Mountain, White Oleander, The Stand, The Dead Zone, The Alienist, The Kite Runner, The Witching Hour, The Thornbirds, Cane and Abel, The Bourne Identity, Wuthering Heights, Pride and Predjudice, Endless Love, Birdy, The Count of Monte Cristo and so many that somehow slip my mind at the moment.
