| Introduction | Owned and operated a small research company which provided mineral ownership information for major oil companies. Retired. I teach special workshops in Historic Tile painting and Decorative Painting at a local college. I also give private lessons. I sell my work on Ebay, Etsy, Big Cartel and several Art Galleries. Received degree in Anthropology from University of Utah. I live with my fabulous husband of 50 years, in a small farming community of central Utah. After living in the big city for many years we built a new home, designed after 16th c. architect Andrea Palladio, in the middle of an Alfalfa Field, on 40 acres. Here we live simply, working hard on our land and taking care of the many animals who have adopted us. I have always admired a certain type of hand painted ceramics; the more colorful and robust tin glaze ceramics of the Italian Renaissance. My Father was a very fine artist. I have painted since childhood. Every year I take lessons from several very fine teachers in Italy and other parts of Europe. I paint almost every day. |
