Gender Female
Occupation Unemployed artist
Location Denver, Colorado, United States
Introduction I have been married longer than I was single. Happily married Howard Paris for 27+ years. I have two grown children, Roxanne 25 in Scotland, and Bryan 22 in New York City. I have recently moved to the Mile High City, Denver, Colorado at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. This is a very big change for me because, though, I spent a brief partial year in London England, Virginia has been my home for most of my life.
Interests Family, art, gardening, home making, printmaking, movies, music, travel
Favorite Movies Hard to pick a favorite, I have loved movies for my whole life, I used do go every saturday to the Jeffrerson, or the Fairfax theatre, and see the most recent Disney feature, Here's a partial list of my favorites The African Queen, Doctor Strangelove, It's a wonderful Life, Pride & Prejudice (with Colin Firth, not Kiera Knightly) Stage Door, Slumdog Millionaire, Some Like it Hot, The Odd Couple, An American in Paris, Angels with Dirty Faces, Follow the Fleet, The Wizard of OZ, Rock N Roll High School, Casablanca, Local Hero, Millions, New York Doll
Favorite Music It's easier to say what i don't like My parents raised me with very ecclectic musical tastes Mostly what I don't like is what was popular when i was in High school, namely, disco I don't care for modern pop/country, not a huge rap fan, (but my kids have made me listen to some), and the over produced no talent pop stars that pass as entertainers today, you know who they are I love: Van Morrison, Donovan, the Beatles, Bruce Springstein, Paul Simon, Bob Dylan, Fountains of Wayne, Franz Ferdinand, Vampire Weekend, Aretha Franklin, Joan Baez, Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, Jeremy Fisher, Motown of the sixties, Beck, The Ramones, and so on and on
Favorite Books My favorite book is easily Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austin, and everything else by her, Also a big fan of Amy Tan, Harry Potter, Twilight, and Outlander series, I love novels, espcially epic or historical in nature
