Introduction In the early 80’s she and her husband drove to the Ann Arbor Art Fair, hoping to sell enough mugs, fondue pots and candle holders to adopt a child. When the first of their three kids went to college, Carol sculpted singing angels from clay and hand colored dancing silhouettes to pay that first tuition bill. 15 years later, Carol has a thriving studio, two stores, five grandkids, a house in the country and a dog named Scout. Every morning, after a cup of coffee with her husband, Carol drives to her studio. There, surrounded by the angels, nativities, silhouettes, and garden dancers that got her kids through school, Carol is using a little bit of paint and a whole lot of ingenuity to transform steel and magnets into a new decorating system. With the quick click of a magnet, her hand painted metal art embellishes refrigerators, frames, mirrors, lamps, and walls. The possibilities are endless, which is good because Carol does not like to be idle. She’s an entrepreneur, artist, designer, inventor, a got-an-idea-in-the-middle-of-the-night-maker. She has a passion for making art and a passion for customers who use her art to capture the joys of family, friends, and tradition.
