| Introduction | Hi! My name is Tiffany. I have a 6 year old daughter that I currently homeschool. This is my first year homeschooling and it has been a learning experience - both fun and frustrating at times. I am a homeschooling Mom, a wife, a student, a teacher, a friend, and a co-owner of the construction company my husband and I own. I LOVE homeschooling our daughter! | Interests | My family, God, Homeschooling, Business, Hospitality and Customer Service, promoting and looking for work our family construction business, cooking, trying to make learning as fun as possible for my daughter, being able to teach my child at home at her own pace while teaching her MY values and morals - not society's values, discovering various new curriculum ideas and techniques for homeschooling, networking with other homeschooling Mom's and families, reading, searching the internet for homeschooling ideas/advice/blogs and free curriculum/resources to use, reading blogs of other familes that are going through similar situations as my family, playing an active role in my daughter's eduaction and actually knowing her academic preformance first hand - both strengths and weaknesses - so I can modify our learning strategy so she can excel in subjects that she finds easy and take longer covering the material she is having a harder time with so she can fully comprehend the material, being able to interact with my daughter all day and teach her lessons (both academic and life lessons) every day. |
