| Introduction | Just a regular passionate and loving guy. Middle-age, just completed MBA, Recently retired. Good marriage, loving wife, my son married well (beaufiful Melinda) and I have a Grandson. I hold an abiding faith in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour and I'm happy to discuss it. |
| Interests | My life is like a gnat living in a walnut shell. I've got all I need, I'm safe and secure. Undergrad to Graduate school for the past 10 years has precluded much additional activity. |
| Favorite movies | Movies are transient entertainment. I usually forget them after watching. I have been touched by some exceptional scenes and stories that depict the need we all have for love, intimacy, contact, trust, and faith. |
| Favorite music | The classical period from 1750~1825 produced some of the greatest music and composers of all times. Definitely Beethoven, Mozart, Haydn. Categorically: symphonies (and most subsets), oratorios, choral masses. On the other hand... > Everything Willie and Waylon, lot's of the old country music > Heavy doses of Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin are occasionally desired. > Prayer and praise, southern gospel. > "new age" if it lends itself to meditation and prayer time. |
| Favorite books | I've been reading textbooks for so long that it's hard to say. I grab poetry for leisure reading. |
The wicked backspin caught you off guard. How will you play it off without losing your footing?
Metaphorically, isn't that just like life? We set ourselves on a course and are often knocked off balance by circumstances. The trick to keeping sure footing is to keep a spiritual perspective on this life as a speck in time. Nothing is significant apart from the love of Christ and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit. Do the best you can until Our Father calls you home.
