Introduction Ronnie lost his leg above the knee six years ago because of a congenital disorder. He found climbing after his amputation and never looked back. Since then Ronnie has been at the forefront of the disabled climbing movement competing in competitions around the world and aspiring to be the first amputee to boulder the V10 difficulty grade. Climbing has been such a positive influence in Ronnie’s life, that he has aspired to share it with others with disabilities as well, introducing over 300 people to climbing through 15 adaptive climbing clinics held around the country. Ronnie currently works as a prosthetist at Prosthetic and Orthotic Associates in Orlando, Fl. There he works with a team focuses on lower limb prosthetics specializing in higher level amputations (Above the knee, Hip Disarticulation), Elevated Vacuum Suspension, and active patients and athletes of all levels.
