| Introduction | Above all, I am a child of God. That weaves into and colors everything else that I am. Next I am a wife and mother. My amazing, Godly husband,Riaz, and I have been married since January 2001. My three boys, Elias ('03), Sebastian ('07), and Isaac ('11) are the core of my world. We live in Chicago. I grew up in the great town of Leonard, TX and flew the coop when I was 18 for Chicago to attend Moody Bible Institute. This was truly the best decision of my life, aside from my decision to follow Jesus. I know that the Lord really guided my steps here to this amazing, wonderful, terrible city! I studied for ministry here; I met my husband here; I grew up here, and I wouldn't change a bit of it. I definitely miss the slower pace and tranquility of a small town, but for now, this is where the Lord has us, and we serve Him with our whole hearts. I am currently back in school studying Psychology at Trinity International University with a focus on Christian Counseling. I love to share my heart and write my thoughts. From a very young age, I felt the call of God on my life for ministry and I love discovering His plans for me in each chapter of my life. |
