| Introduction | I am Editor-in-Chief and publisher of the Journal of Medical Internet Research, the #1 ehealth journal. Publishing a journal is all about building a community, and we built a community of 50.000+ readers per month, and dozens of institutional members. I also help to build communities around the areas I am interested in by organizing conferences - I organized the World Congress on Internet in Medicine twice, and my latest project is the Medicine 2.0 congress, which is now a international conference series I am producing, and the Medicine 2.0 Social Network. I am also Professor at the Department of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation at the University of Toronto, where I teach and supervise PhD and Master's students in the area of eHealth, and a Senior Scientist at the Centre for Global eHealth Innovation in Toronto.
