Introduction Single mum to the gorgeous weeny girl, with mostly left wing leanings and the the odd, secret, right of centre failing. A thrifter by choice now by circumstance and as such not as smugly virtuous as I would like. Trying to survive the new era of the con dem nation post redundancy in the far far northern provinces of England. Documenting my descent into negative equity, drop in income to below 20k while trying to give my daughter a cool childhood with a few joys here and there! Oh and that Biggles!
Interests frugality, being outside, gardening, thrift, camping, therapeutic cooking, green type stuff, oh and errr charity shopping/car boots- any sort of second hand type stuff!!!! I like to dress up - fancy dress love it - last opportunity was as a Zombie on a walk through Newcastle. Mostly I now live vicariously through my small daughter who has ample opportunity these days with christmas, festivals, theme days at Nursery!!! She loves it and clothes and likes to chose her own random outfits to wear - she is also charity shop dressed and fabulously so!!!
