| Introduction | Making things with my hands is one of the greatest joys of my life. Growing a new idea, planning the layout and colors, and constructing the parts of a quilted piece of work is deeply satisfying. I started with traditional quilts twenty years ago, and have moved to primarily contemporary art quilts in the last few years. Developing the textural surface of the quilt is the primary interest in my newest work. Jen, Sam's mother, and her family have been part of my life for 30 years. I am pleased that many of you know Jen as a friend, co-worker and awesome nurse. I'm happy to be able to support Sam's financial welfare in this way. |
