| Introduction | This blog has become a place for me to continue with plans that I made with my dear friend, Judy Coffey. We worked together to create Academic Restoration where young people could get extra help through tutoring, parent workshops, and other services. We wanted to help people to see how enjoyable and easy learning can be. We often discussed ideas that would help young people reach their goals. Judy would say,"That will go into the book," when we had a particularly memorable idea. We never wrote the book. Judy died on August 25, 2009. Before she died, I told her that I would continue with our plans by creating this blog. I am sure that her inspiration and ideas are with me as I write. Marlena Hirsch |
