Introduction	has written numerous articles for Washington's Finest magazine formerly based out of Washington, DC. Alana is now a contributing writer for lifestyle magazine, MWARI Magazine. In addition to being a published writer, Alana has over 15 years experience in Child Advocacy and Education. Her advocacy efforts have won her several accolades with C.A.S.A. and Newark, NJ family courts. A graduate of Montclair State University, Alana was awarded a full academic scholarship and went on to earn a BA in English Literature and she has earned a degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education. Alana is currently authoring a book entitled: Mirror, Mirror: Reflections of a Woman which is slated to be published in 2010-2012.
