| Introduction | Tom is a 30-year veteran of the specialized content world. This means the oil in your car may be younger. Like many SIPA folks and everyone else, he has managed content publishing through sweeping technology and market changes. Each of these changes presents opportunities or threats. Tom has been an active SIPA member, including executive officer, since who knows when. Probably since the Reagan Administration (UK readers insert "Thatcher"). He was reporter, managing editor then publisher of Mealey Publications. Mealey's was acquired by LexisNexis in 2000. in 2008 Tom joined Business Valuation Resources as publisher of their legal division. Tom then acquired the conference business from David Foster, and has relaunched the business as HB Litigation Conferences LLC, along with partner Sharon Boothe.
