| Introduction | Far from perfect, I am an incurable perfectionist and value being part of a community that regularly reminds me of the love and compassion of God. I am passionate about social justice and the inner transformations of character that are necessary to sustain a faithful witness to Jesus Christ. I work in the University of Exeter Business School and research business models that strive to embody practices such as redistribution of wealth, democratic governance and ecological sustainability - most notably co-operatives and social enterprises. In no particular order, I am a non-staff member of the Belmont Chapel leadership team, co-founder of the Belmont Eco-Church and CHARIS Exeter community sponsorship groups, husband, dad, cyclist, vegetable grower, baker of bread, retired farmer and prolific tea drinker. |

| Favorite books | Reading is my great passion and burden. I am a committed reader of the bible. Whilst some of my favourite books are: The Peaceable Kingdom (Stanley Hauerwas); Journey Towards Holiness (Alan Kreider); A Place on Earth (Wendell Berry). Anything by Eugene Peterson, Henri Nouwen, Walter Brueggemann, N.T. Wright. Adding to my list all the time... |
