Introduction	“Ice is nice” are the words I heard from my ski racing coach growing up more times then I can count. Yup you guessed it I grew up skiing on the east coast or often referred to as the ice coast. And when I finally was able to experience the blissfulness of west coast powder, I realized ice is not nice, in fact it down right sucks. Yes I will credit ice to making me a strong skier, but I will always be in search of another glorious powder turn. Growing up in small town Vermont my parents put me on skis at age two. While I played numerous sports growing up skiing was always my favorite. Yes like many kids I had dreams of being a professional athlete, but those were just dreams right? Wrong. Today I am actually living that dream, and yeah it is pretty awesome!
