| Introduction | The Gavel Club provides a mutually supportive environment where youngsters can practice their public speaking and leadership skills. All meetings are held in a structured format, and are not classroom type sessions. Members do prepared speeches and table topics (impromptu speeches), and evaluate speeches made by others. Gavel Clubs are scaled down versions of Toastmasters International. |
