| Introduction | This is my first crack at parenting. I'm nothing like those other mums who blog : I'm disorganised, my house looks like it's been ransacked, and I think I'm a hero if I cook dinner one night out of seven. Some days I feel like I'm the only person in the world who feels a certain way, despite knowing that billions of people have done it all before. Mostly I just muddle through. It seems to be going ok so far... A couple of months ago, I used my FB status to share my insights about parenting. Since that really is more a space for declaring what I ate for dinner, I have moved it all to this blog. The first few posts are from my FB account, because I am both time poor and lazy. I don't offer advice, and have no qualifications in this area. This is just a space for me to take a tongue-in-cheek look at parenting, and say the things that we often think but don't want to admit. All said and done, I love my baby boy, I love being his mum, and I wouldn't change anything about my life. But sometimes it's ok for parents to complain... |
