| Introduction | I am a 69 year old very Anglo-Norman male citizen of this the greatest nation on earth. I firmly belief that we live in the best of times in the best of nations on the best of all possible worlds. My first ancestor on the continent of North America arrived at Jamestown, Virginia Colony, in 1611. For almost four hundred years my ancestors slowly moved west. Most of were farmers and hunters, and on occasion soldiers. Several were killed by Indians, they fought on both sides in the Revolutionary War, one was killed at the battle of New Orleans. I am interested in history and spend quite a bit of time researching the times and the circumstances in which some of my ancestors lived. I have a pretty good grasp of American history. In addition I worked for three decades as an electrical designer and engineer in the power industry. I have first hand experience nuclear, coal, gas, oil, thermal, and solar power generation. I believe I can speak with some authority on problems and solutions associated with the generation and distribution of electrical power. |
