| Introduction | Okay... I wake up, make breakfast, change a diaper, coax my kids to EAT, and the day is suddenly over. Then we put the kids to bed, have some time to ourselves, go to bed, and get up to do the same thing again. And with all that, miracles happen: my daughter writes an "i" that no one taught her how to do; my son can count to 100 all of a sudden. My toddler has memorized an 11-word line, my husband comes home and tells me how his coworkers are admiring his lunches.Wow! I belive that all parents working hard to raise their families right should get a FREQUENT pat on the back for giving so selflessly to their children. If there were more words of encouragement, there would be more good parenting. SO HERE IS MY SHOUT-OUT to all good-hearted parents EVERYWHERE: thank you for raising good people who will turn out to be my children's friends, teachers, civic leaders, doctors. Thank you for raising happy, well-adjusted children who feel loved and are prepared to take on the challenges of society. Thank you,and may God bless you. Oh, and if you think that I think I'm a perfect parent, then I'm a penguin! :0) |

Which is more important to you and why: flexibility or expandability?
If I had to pick, I'd choose flexibility and I'll tell you why: unexpected changes are always inescapable. If we are able to flow with the changes, we and everyone around us find joy in the surprises that hit us. Someone once told me this: "Blessed are the flexible, for they shall not be bent out of shape."
