| Introduction | I'm a 21 year old architecture student from Vail, Colorado, studying at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. When I'm not focusing on architecture I love snow skiing, waterskiing, surfing, biking, playing soccer, and hockey. For the next nine months I'm going to be living in Denmark studying local Scandinavian design and learning from architects in the field. Denmark is one of the leading countries using sustainable and smart design in its cities, buildings, and practices. When I am not studying I am also going to be traveling around Europe for the first time. This journey and these experiences will stay with me for the rest of my life and my career in architecture.
