| Introduction | I grew up in Mogadishu near the heavily guarded presidential headquarters of the Somali President Siyad Barre and when the civil war broke out in Somali I have fled to London hoping to go back in months and months turned to nearly two decades and found out that in London I am very Somali and in Mogadishu I am a Londoner, sometimes its blessing and most of the time a curse. Currently I am the Leader of the New Somali Youth League SYL, I consider myself a political activist.
