Introduction	I am 29 living at home still had to come home as no longer can work as a nanny. I fell ill last year with Cauda Equnia Syndrome. Basicaly the nickname for it is horses tail. I had decompression on the sciatic nerve cuased the nerves to stop working. Lost all feeling in leg and feet and bum area. Had an op on the back to remove the discs that were compressing on the nerves and over the 12 months from the op I have gain my mobilty a little and some feeling not all. Still have dead leg on my left and feet as well. Still very swollen feet can not wear normal shoes as much as I want to. Still battling with my weight I lost a stone and a half in hospital and now put it all back on nearly. So this blog is about the my journey into a new life and how I am copeing living with this rare condition.
