Gender Female
Occupation Health Unity Coordinator
Location Anoka, Minnesota, United States
Introduction I was born in Minneapolis at Maternity Hospital. I was the youngest of 6, but a sister and a brother died before I was born. All my old schools have been torn down, but I'm still here! I completed a some college before marrying and having children. Bob and I have 6 grown children, and 15 grandchildren. I worked in hospitals and clinics, mostly part time, since 1968. There were also times when our children were young that I was able to be a mom and homemaker full time. I returned to college in 1987 for degrees in English. I planned to teach junior college, but when I couldn't easily find a job in the area, I went back to hospital work. Until I retired October 10, 2008, I worked 3 nights a week at as a medical secretary in OB at Mercy Hospital. My greatest joy is my family and the gospel as taught in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. When Bob retires in March 2011 (?), we plan to move to Watertown, SD. We own a house there. Watertown puts us in a state where the cost of living is lower, but keeps us within 4 hours of our family in Minnesota. We look forward to those times and finding out what the rest of our lives will bring.
