| Introduction | North Easterner born and bred. I have set up this blog to talk about the big issues that I think politicians should care about. This includes re-engaging with working class communities; achieving social mobility and breaking down the barriers facing people from lower socio-economic backgrounds;rebuilding democracy; rebalancing the economy and reinvigorating the North Eastern economy through more industry and more private sector jobs; delivering high quality public services; achieving a fairer society; and re-empowering people at every level.
