| Introduction | As a young exotic parrot owner in the 80's.I got very involved with exotic parrots in about every aspect.we opened and operated out of pocket Indiana Large Bird Rescue for many years and still continue to offer this free service to the general public as well as retired breeder birds. Over the years we had many calls asking about primate sanctuaries in certain areas. =At the time we only were resuing,rehabilitating and sanctioning Parrots.As we researched and learned about the Primate species We decided we would learn more and more over the years about them,Their housing,enrichment formulas,care,social skills,etc. In 2009 after nearly 10 years of learning Primates we opened Us Primate Rescue & Sanctuary Inc. We live and have great desire and harts for exotics in general and we offer a referral service for any exotic needing help.We deal with many other top notch quality established exotic animal rescues and sanctuaries nationwide. If we cannot personally help we know someone who can and will! |
