| Introduction | My formal education is in art and photography. While studying for my art/photography degree I shot for The College Times at UVSC, now UVU. I photographed sporting and concert events. These included the Utah Jazz, BYU footbal & basketball, AAA Baseball, the WNBA and UVSC athletics. Among the major recording artists were the likes of Elton John, Aerosmith, Pearl Jam, Live, B-52's, Howard Jones, Christina Aguilera and Garth Brooks just to name a few. While shooting for The College Times I visualized my photography career ahead of me. I had a choice to make. I knew I would have a little family in the near future and I was not interested in being on call 24/7 as a stringer. I made the choice of portraits and weddings as a great career for a Utah based photographer. I photographed engagements, bridals and weddings for my first 4 years as my second job until I was too busy shooting, to have a second job. It was time to go pro. I have been shooting professionally since 2000. My approach to each shoot is with excitement, creativity and a strong desire to capture your beauty and personality. I LOVE to photograph people! |
