| Introduction | Rachel King is a graduate student at Columbia University School of Journalism, with a magazine concentration. Before arriving in New York, she obtained a Bachelor's Degree from the University of California, Berkeley, where she double-majored in Mass Communications and History. Rachel wrote at her college newspaper, The Daily Californian, covering University-related issues. She also interned at the CNN San Francisco bureau and the U.S. Department of State in Washington, where she wrote about all things Africa. Rachel loves reporting in New York City, as she gets to see people and places she never would otherwise. In her spare time, she listens to BBC news podcasts, plays trumpet and watches her current obsession, The Office. Other than her beloved San Francisco, she has lived in New Orleans, Washington, D.C., and Paris. Someday she will be perfectly fluent in both French and Spanish. Someday. |
