| Introduction | I am a lawyer in Chicago specializing in patent litigation and prosecution. I also work with businesses in other commercial matters, such as insurance coverage of patent cases, Internet related issues, and the use of social networking. My firm utilizes total quality management processes that I learned in a decade of engineering to keep costs down while providing clients with top quality representation. I take pride in fully understanding the issue(s) facing a client and tailoring solutions to fit the clients circumstances. In addition to technology (and patents), I have also been a private trader the past ten years. Prior to this year, I only traded stocks, with options used exclusively to protect large positions. Starting this year, I have been trading futures as well. The two traders that have influenced me most are Alan Farley and Larry Williams. When not practicing law or trading, most of my time is spent with my wife and daughter, or around small planes. |
