| Introduction | I am a happily married, mother of 1, living in outside Baltimore, Maryland. Now in our 6th year of marriage, my husband and I work to balance home responsibilities, work responsibilities, and our own individual pursuits. I began crocheting about 3 years ago, when my girlfriends began having babies. So few of the gifts they received were hand made, and I wanted to revive the tradition of welcoming new life with something more personal. As children, we received gifts from friends and family members that were made with love, and with us specificially in mind. It is this tradition I hope to continue with my new shop. I also work as an event planner in the Greater Baltimore area. It is a job I have loved since graduating college in 2002. I have had the pleasure of helping everyone from strangers to middle school classmates plan the details of their special day. I have worked with quiet and soft spoken brides, and pushy grooms, and mother-of-the-brides of all kinds! It's a wonderful survey of the human spirit and the journey that is love. |
