| Introduction | Our story began over 37 years ago at BYU in the Religion Department. Steve was a teaching assistant and tutor in the Philosophy Department and I was one of the two secretaries to the Dean of Religion. We have three wonderful daughters and three wonderful sons including some pretty awesome son in laws and three incredible daughter-in-laws too! The funnest part of life (besides spending time together) are our grandchildren-all fifteen of them! The hardest part of life is missing our children that are so far away! |
| Interests | I love to paint (WALLS) because I LOVE COLORS! We like to garden(if its not hot), and travel, I love all kinds of sewing including cross stitch, and I like anything to do with improving our home. We both love to read. Being together every minute is one of our best hobbies!!! Bonzai are Steve's latest interest and passion and he has always loved his fish aquarium and we love visiting our children and our Grandchildren & going to Disneyland and Disneyworld! |
| Favorite movies | Steve likes anything scary. I like anything that has a happy ending that doesn't have sex or violence! We like Sleepless in Seattle, Enchanted, and August Rush. Steve loved King Kong. |
| Favorite music | Our all-time favorite CD is Consider the Lilies by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. I love any piano music by Danny Wright. I also LOVE acoustical guitar and we both love classical music. Steve loves the 1812 Overture, the Doobie Brothers, and the Beatles. |
| Favorite books | Steve and I like to read the same books. Right now we are reading the Chronicles of Narnia together. We have read the Harry Potter Series which we loved. My favorite book is the Hiding Place by Corrie Ten Boom, We also loved The Hobbit and the Trilogy by J.R. Tolkein. We love to read the Newbery Award Books for children (Jr Adult) |
