| Introduction | Majoring in Animation Michele was tutored by the late Herb Ariss in London, ON at H.B. Beal Tech. Working life began as a sign painter, florist, designing architectural fronts & producing large-scale murals. Specializing in pottery she taught entry-level high school art classes, wrote several art curricula & taught in public & private schools in ON. Being exposed to innovative stained glass living in California sparked the beginning of a 30-year business in custom stained-glass design operated from home. In creating liturgical banners for the Anglican Church many were shown at the ‘Millennium Liturgical Art Show’ in Port Hope, ON. Oil painting and pen, ink and watercolour have been her focus lately. Restaurants in Muskoka have commissioned her to create paintings for their establishments which are for sale. Commissions on request. |
