Introduction	Veteran reporter experienced in covering issues of public safety, law enforcement, courts, federal, state, and local government. A Los Angeles native and a resident of the Pacific Northwest since 1994. My work has received recognition over the years, winning awards from the Society of Professional Journalists, Western Washington Chapter. These days, I work in communications, produce occassional freelance articles, and volunteer my services.

Favorite movies	"Bullitt" for the chase scene and the cool music; "Casablanca" for the style; "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" for the soundtrack and the grim humor; "Harold and Maude" because it's so strange.
