| Introduction | I think I am the typical woman. I want happiness and prosperity... blah blah blah. But I have taken some windy roads along the way. I listened to what I was told. I was told to go to college. I went. I was told to get a degree. I went and got a Bachelors & Masters. Young girls must get married. So I got married. But when I lost the dream and got divorced... all bets were off!!! Shortly after the separation from the love of my life, I was taking care of my ill father who eventually lost his battle to cancer. I was lost.... I didn't really feel like I belonged anywhere... except Krispy Kreme's. And I went there every day, multiple times a day until I was nearly 200 lbs. And at my height... that was not a good look. I found myself overweight, unhappy, working in an unfulfilling job. But I finally woke up about a lot of things, and I am hoping that I can share and help to encourage and motivate to travel the new path that I have found. Cause I can see clearly now... the rain is gone. |
