| Introduction | Lover of art, Europe, New England, Travel, Music and beautiful things. Mother of two amazing young men 13 and 16. Travelled to Rome and the Amalfi Coast in 2001, fell deeply in love and felt like I had always been there. The beauty of Capri and Positano took my breath away and Rome simply amazed me. That trip has forever changed me. I discovered a gifted oil painter and started importing her work and opened a gallery. The gallery turned into a retail store and with the intoxicating yet false momentum of the mid 2000's sold everything from Italian Ceramics to French Linens, Gifts. home decor and offered Bridal Services, Travel Services and design services. A crazy partner later and the great recession and I once again am looking to recreate myself at 47. Four more years and my children will be off to college and I need to channel all this creativity into a vehicle that gives me the luxury of living in Europe at least for part of each year. Retail is not my choice at this point in my life, rather I have kept my website www.thevillawinterpark.com and plan to develop a branding/marketing arm of the business. |
