Introduction	When I was little I always envisioned my life a certain way. I would become a teacher, marry, and have 2 children. I met my wonderful husband in high school, dated throughout college, and we married in 2000. I began teaching elementary school in 2001. In 2004, we decided it was time to start our family. I was due in December of 2004 with a baby girl. Emaline Brooke was born in September of 2004 due to complications with my pregnancy of preeclampsia and HELLP syndrome. She lived for 7 short days and my life was forever changed. I realized that life doesn't always go according to "your" plan. I was blessed to become pregnant again quickly and was considered a high risk pregnancy. Jonas Matthew was born in August of 2005. Three years later Jacob Miller joined our family in June of 2008. I have realized that life can throw many things at you, but it is in your power to decide if it will make you bitter or better. I strive everyday for the latter and count my blessings.
