IntroductionBorn and raised in the beatiful hills surrounding the Kickapoo Valley area of Western/Southwestern Wisconsin. Kickapoo Folkart is about crafts from the Kickapoo Valley located in the Ocooch Mountains of Wisconsin. The main artist is Kim Rundle who is a Certified One Stroke Level II Painting Instructor. Kim paints on just about anything and everything from Turkey feathers, and tractor seats, to wood items her husband crafts to the sweetest, most delicious hand painted "edible" sugar cookies. Another artist designs her own unique Macrame jewelry using beads and stones and you will find her works in the Macrame Jewelry section. Upcycling and recycling are a big part of the craft and art experience. There are so many quality items with character that make art pieces quite unique. We would love to hear about your experiences and tips with upcycling or recycling. Catering is available and done in a state licensed kitchen by two certified ServSafe individuals. Contact us for help with planning your catering needs for your wedding, reunion, birthday or retirement party or any other occasion. Reasonably priced and willing to work with you.
