| Introduction | Peter Merguerian has 32 years global regulatory compliance experience. He led the development and implementation of global certifications for TUV Rheinland of North America, Inc. in all technological fields with an emphasis on safety, emc, wireless and telecoms. Prior to TUV Rheinland, Mr. Merguerian was co-founder and member of the board of directors and technical director for I.T.L. (Product Testing) Ltd., a safety and electromagnetic compatibility testing laboratory. At I.T.L., Mr. Merguerian had corporate-wide responsibility for Market and Conformity Surveillance, Regulatory and Testing Services, Global Engineering, Accreditation, and Global Certifications. Mr. Merguerian had global coordination responsibility for I.T.L's participation in the International Electrotechnical Commission, other international certification-related activities, and overseeing ITL's work with certification bodies around the globe. Mr. Merguerian began his career at Underwriters Laboratories Inc (UL) in 1982 as a Product Safety Engineer. Mr. Merguerian earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago, IL, in 1980. |
