| Introduction | On February 20th, 2008 a 6 alarm blaze devastated half a city block of Queen St. West, between Bathurst and Portland. Among the shops that were razed to ground was the Queen St. location of Suspect Video, an Internationally renowned venue of video-culture and local epicentre for many film-arts oriented Torontonians. Not only was the entire film catalog lost but the local clientelle were left without their beloved “club house” and the dedicated staff without a livelyhood. It seemed clear that there was only one thing to do, open another shop starting from scratch! We are pleased to announce that with much perserverence and a lot of elbow grease, we have done it. We got the space, we built the shelves, we got the movies (not all of them but we’re growing every day) and we are ready to serve our community once again. It is our mission to bring in the best and the “worst” that the world of cinema has to offer. There is a war coming and our enemy is mediocrity! Drop in and join the ranks! We look forward to welcoming old friends and new! |
