| Introduction | I moved to the Austin area and started my practice on immigration, a field that I find fascinating full of challenges, which I love to overcome! |
| Interests | I was born and raised in Puerto Rico. I earned my Juris Doctor at the Inter-American University School of Law in Puerto Rico. After obtaining my J.D., I barred in Puerto Rico as an Attorney and Public Notary. I started practicing solo in Puerto Rico and developed a clientele based in civil litigation with emphasis in Family and Estate Law. After moving to the Washington, D.C. area, I worked on a project as a federal contractor with the Department of Justice in complex high-profile litigation. Now, I’ve relocated with my family to Austin, Texas where I opened a small law firm focusing my practice in federal controversies, especially in the area of Immigration. Also, I maintained my office location in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico where I practice with my father, Mr. Angel R. Albizu, Sr., to help non-residents in the Island with their legal matters in Puerto Rico. For more information regarding our legal services, please access www.albizulaw.com. I enjoy giving my time and expertise to different Non-Profit organizations, as I have giving part of my time and expertise to different entities for over 8 years. As born in the beautiful Island of Puerto Rico, I’m a Native Spanish speaker. I’m the mother of two beautiful children and my husband works as an Architect for an International company. |
