About me

Introduction I went to UW-LaCrosse where I got a Bachelor's in Spanish. I studied in Valladolid, Spain for a semester and traveled through Europe when I was there. I have also been to Thailand on a mission trip. After graduating, I worked for a marketing firm for about a year until I decided to pursue a degree in nursing. I went through Marquette's Direct Entry Program. I had my son Dec. 2005 and graduated May of 2006. I worked as a Pediatric NP for the Medical College of Wisconsin, had my daughter in Aug of 2007 and wanted a more flexible schedule so I stopped working for MCW and started working at a Pediatric Urgent Care. I now do primary care for the same practice. When I went to a natural family planning conference and met Dr. Fehring who was presenting his NFP research, I was moved to pursue my PhD in nursing to do similar research.
Interests Family activities, travel, spending time outdoors.
