Introduction	When I first drove through Butte, 10 years ago, I noticed a lot of casinos. I was thankful when Montana Street led me to "uptown!" The older brick buildings have such energy to them! I thought they would be filled with unique shops. But, most of them were empty. It was difficult to find a cup of coffee uptown ...when you would think that such an area would be filled with coffee shops. I'm happy to say that there are now several options for a great cup of coffee. Many businesses have opened and added to the charm of this place. Butte is changing, yet it's roots will always be deep (as the mine it's famous for.)
