Introduction	My work reflects my joyful spirit, covered in cheerful glazes. I keep a lot of the dark clay body exposed as a complementing grounding element. I am very inspired by the nature surrounding me in the high Rocky Mountains, the exciting, vibrant colors and the spiritual, serene elements. It is in this inspirational setting that I mentally craft my creations and then sink my hands into ready clay and guide my vision into reality. The majority of my pieces I throw on the kick wheel. I love the fast pace of throwing, and revisiting each piece to trim and finish, maybe adding plant or animal imagery. Sometimes I create larger-scale hand built items such as sculptures or custom planters. What I adore about working in clay is that it is possible for me to create any concept in my mind's eye.
