| Introduction | Family is at the center of my life and effects each decision I make about how I spend my time because I believe the family unit is literally the center of our universe during this life and after it. Raising a large family and working with special needs kids has occupied most of my adult life. I wouldn't want it any other way. My hope is that my experience in Mozambique will not only give me an opportunity to serve others not as fortunate as myself, but to give my children and grandchildren a greater vision of ways we can all reach out to others who are in need, whether it be at home or on the other side of the world. |
