| Introduction | Call me Cynical Chareidi or CC, for short. In all ways external, I am chareidi. For example, I teach in a chareidi yeshiva for English-speakers. My background, too, is chareidi. I grew up in Brooklyn and attended chareidi elementary and high schools, yeshivos, and kollelim. But internally, in some significant ways, I believe I am not chareidi. |
