Introduction I am a Mormon in the way a non-practicing Jew would say they are Jewish. It's in my blood, but not in my heart. My family joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the 1840's and with all the other Mormon's slowly moved west until arriving in Utah. I was baptized by my father when I was 8 years old (as is tradition). I was raised in a small town in Northern Utah that is approximately 95% Mormon. My family are all full-time Mormons (this means more than just going to church on Sunday btw). Though retired, my father taught Mormon Doctrine for over 30 years. I graduated from a Mormon seminary when i was 17 years old, and continued studying during college. I served a 2 year 1 month mission for The Church, and although I didn't baptize 100's of people was successful in converting many. However, my heart wasn't in it. I know the facts, but I myself was never fully converted. To be Mormon, you also have to believe it, and there came a point where I finally had to step away from family and tradition.
