If mud is dirt plus water, what is clay?
Moldable mud. And impossible to get out of when the horse you're leading keeps going through it and you get stuck, fall on your face, and the horse looks back and looks at you like, "What are you doing down there? Hurry up, it's time to eat!" *laugh*
