| Introduction | Began my natural hair journey in Feb'09 with the focus on being All Natural universally. Absolutely love trying home remedies. Transitioned my permed shoulder length hair about 1 & half yrs, cut the remaining 3" or so of permed ends, which made a HUGE difference..the permed ends hinder strand health. Since then, I see my kinky curls benefit the most from coconut oil, shea butter and co-washes. My hair is now about Bra Length and mostly retain length by keeping my hair in 2strand twists & on rare occassions will wear twist outs in order to avoid the inevitable (much loved) dreaded single-strand knots:).
