Occupation Mother of Four

Introduction I am a single mom of four now, Joshua, Adin, Callison and Justus. I grew up in Va Beach and went to Word Of Life Church and Southside/Sovereign Grace church. I attended Atlantic Shores school and then home-schooled my highschool years. I loved playing Softball and Volleyball and I loved being a flyer for my cheer squad. My ex-husband and I were married in 98 and then went on a "church plant" to Denver Colorado where we resided for about 9 years. When Charlie stated he didnt want his life of "family and responsibility" anymore, we gratefully moved in with my parents in Texas. My life is not what I planned it to be, Prov 16:9 comes to mind-"In his heart a man plans his course, but the Lord determines his steps". So, as I try to plan :-), I trust God to lead me, strengthen me and love me as I journey on, hopefully, for His glory!
Interests I love my Father God and am thankful for his loving care. I am thankful for my parents, pastors and friends who love and support me so much. I love the summer, beach and pools, beautiful sunsets in an open sky.A good book next to a pool or in a bath is ideal :-)I love horses and old movies like "It happened one night". Love to play Volleyball, Softball and even Football-but I am 30 so it has to be two hand touch and not tackle:-) Go Patriots!
Favorite Movies Love 80's movies, John Cusack movies, old movies -Casablanca, It happened One night, Roman Holiday etc, Both Pride and Prejudice movies, Wives and Daughters and North and South-NOT the Civil War one, the E. Gaskell book made into a movie :-)Also have a stupid movie collection that you'll just have to ask about to know - or look in my drawer:-)
Favorite Music Great worship music, old blues/jazz (sarah vaughn, billie holiday etc) and new jazz (norah jones, robin thicke and of course the great michael buble), 80's rock and 90's rock-which is my time rock:-)
Favorite Books "Keep a Quiet Heart"-E.Elliot, "Disciplines of Grace" -J.Bridges, "Feminine Appeal"-C.Mahaney, "Shepherding a child's heart" - Tripp and "Don't Make me Count to Three"-I forget her name but the BEST BOOK ON PARENTING, also like Cindy Woodsmall fiction.
